Cannot restart Firefox easily. It does not retain preset options and will not restart where it left off.

When an update is automatically installed and it shuts down Firefox, I have a difficult time restarting it. I have figured out a way round it, but none of my option settings are retained. It also does not restart my previous windows and tabs, nor will it allow me to restore previous session.

What about the rest of your data? history, bookmarks . . . .

It's possible something went wrong with the update, causing Firefox to refresh your settings.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
