How to prevent recently closed tabs and windows from clearing after exiting Firefox

The recently closed tabs and windows menu works great, until I close Firefox, because it clears those menus. Is there an option to prevent this behavior.

I don't want to automatically restore previous sessions or install a separate session manager addon.

Closed tabs are part of the session data stored in sessionstore.jsonlz4 as part of session data. You will only be able to reopen closed tabs and windows if you would restore this previous session.


There are other things that need attention.
