Hi,

I'm relatively new to Firefox. I switched over because Google Chrome started refusing to open gmail. Everything has worked fine so far except downloading files from Google Drive, and only Google Drive. It always says, "The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I've tried just about every solution I've seen, such as:

- clearing the cache
- clearing cookies
- setting up a temporary profile with no add-ons or extensions
- browsing in private mode
- renaming/deleting cookies.sqlite
- making sure Firefox accepts third party cookies and Google Drive is not listed on the exceptions
- disabling antivirus
- doing "Forget about this site"

Still nothing. Does anybody have any other ideas?

Thanks

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.

Looks like you have gone through a lot of what I would have asked you that where solutions in the past. Did you shut down Firefox then restart it and try ?

Please uninstall and then update to the current version please.

Note : Firefox 56.0.2 is current release https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installer Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I've checked all of the "Send Info to Mozilla" boxes. I did shut down Firefox and restart. I also uninstalled, reinstalled, and made sure that my Firefox is up to date. The problem still persists :/

Thanks

Has there been an update to this issue? I'm a technical specialist and many users in my organization are reporting this issue. They are all using the latest version of Firefox and our users are on MacOS 10.12.6.
