Embedded videos load in a corner of the page as I scroll past them.

In Windows 7, when I load a webpage that has embedded video, as I scroll down the page past the video it reappears in the lower right corner of my screen with no way to close it. How can I either get it to close or not show up in the first place?

Please first update to the latest version of Firefox. Firefox 56.

Verify that you meet the System Requirements (GTK+ and GLib) for the current Firefox release.

Note that the System Details list shows an outdated Flash plugin.
