When I open FF Quantum on my Win7Prox64 laptop, I get 4 instantiations of FF running. Then I get a new instantiation for every tab I open--and in my work, I often have as many as 30 tabs open simultaneously. That chews up CPU. Eric Hines

Hello, this is a part of e10's Firefox's new multi-process engine for slick and faster browsing, but also making sure, when something crashes - the whole browser does not go down, you can disable this in about:config by searching for browser.tabs.remote.autostart and setting it to disabled. If this solved your problem, please mark as solution!
