Upgraded to V57.0 takes 10-20+ secs to open new tab etc. Why? Win 10

After upgrading to V57.0 Mozilla is almost impossible to use because it is so slow, for example taking 10 to 20 seconds to open (or close) a new tab. Won't maximise from taskbar icon when minimised (opening another tab before minimising then closing Mozilla from taskbar produces dialog box and maximises). Using Chrome to send this as Mozilla is too slow. Note that Chrome is working perfectly. Thanks

hi, can you try if this change can workaround the performance problem?: go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > privacy & security panel and under permissions check the setting to prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.
