When i used to open a new tab, i was presented with the top 18 or so pages i used the most often, with the quantum update, this dropped to 12, very small icons that leave a lot of empty space. Can this be restored to the larger icons, or more than 12?

In addition, the update on mobile has destroyed my new tab page by adding in pocket. I was able to disable it in the browser version, but i've yet to find out how in the mobile version. Can the mobile version have its pocket disabled and how? For reference, i have already checked the about:config and plugins, nothing there related to pocket.

hi i ve solved the problem following this advice

It's a bit hidden, but you can actually change this in the new version:

type "about:config" in the address bar
click the "I accept the risk" button
In the search field at the top, type "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesCount"
double-click the item that appears in the list
enter the number 18 and click "OK".

You can actually have more than three rows if you want as well - entering 24 gives you 4 rows, 30 gives you 5 rows, etc.

Hope that helps!
