Cannot run 64 bit Firefox, will run in safe mode. 32 bit Firefox will run. Windows 10 version 1709.
Approximately two weeks ago Firefox was operating normally. Then while I was using Outlook to do my emails clicked on a link Firefox pop the message said they were doing an update. When the update was finished and I clicked the link Firefox would not start. Little spinning circle for about three seconds that it goes away. 64 bit Firefox will run in safe mode, 32-bit Firefox will work in this version of Windows, 1709 build 16299. johnb

Running 2 versions of Firefox is a Conflict.
uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
