On firefox.com how to I write a review?
Somehow I got firefox.com when I clicked a link to write a review. I had to create an account which I subsequently verified. I enabled cookies.
I wasn't able thereafter to find any link for writing a review. I was sent back to the page for the web extension I had been looking at and there was no link there. I tried loading firefox.com independently of the web extension page and could find no means there of writing a review.
Chosen solution
I got a reply from the add-ons forum. It seems that you have to first click at least one star to "rate your experience". After doing that you can write a review. Thanks to those who replied.

I think I get it. Extensions are on the Add-ons site, and the way you log into the Add-ons site is using a Firefox Account.
Could you check the upper right corner of the page for the extension you want to review and see whether your Firefox Account name is there, or it says Register or Sign In? If it says Register or Sign In, click that, and then you should be able to log in with your Firefox Account.

Thanks for replying. In that corner there is an arrow pointing down. If I click that I get a dropdown menu with a variety of options (none of which are pertinent) ending with the option to "log out". The link you provided loads a blank page.

Are you signing into the internet web site, OR into your Firefox Browser Sync Account [URL shows about:preferences#sync ] ?
When you sign into Firefox your profile image will appear with your name in the Browsers dropdown open menu, or when you open your Firefox "Menu Bar" then open Edit then Preferences then Sync.
Do NOT say REMEMBER when signing on on shared or Pubic Internet access devices.

Sounds like you are already logged into the Add-ons site. To the left of the little "V" should be your Firefox Account display name (or maybe your email address). Can you go ahead and post your review?
Thanks for replying. No, there is no link or button allowing me to post a review. I am on the extension's page.
There is a long alpha-numeric string beginning with the word 'anonymous'. If I hover over that I get the dropdown menu but no option to post a review.
I should add that two items in the dropdown menu are greyed out : My Account, Tools.
EDIT : I can load the add-ons forum in Google-Chrome.

That's not what I see, so I can't explain it.
The area where I think you post a review is headed "Rate your experience" and has 5 gray stars.
