Sounds a bit confusing, but you know how you tap the address bar and begin to type something in but the top sites, bookmarks etc pops up so you can no longer view the content of the page you were on? Yeah, anyway to stop that?

Hi,

I believe you can do this by changing the following settings:

  1. Type "about:config" in the address bar.
  2. Click the "I accept the risk" button.
  3. In the search bar, type "browser.urlbar.maxRichResults".
  4. Double-click on the first item that appears in the list, and enter "0" as the new value.
  5. Next, type "browser.urlbar.oneOffSearches" in the same search box.
  6. Double-click on the first item that appears to change the value to "false".

Hope that helps!
