I am getting this message when I use my in box and trash box: It has been going on for several days. The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account pennylcg@windstream.net responded: Unrecognized command: ID. I get the same message when I use my trash folder. What is going on? I can read my inbox and I can move files to trash and delete/empty the trash folder.

Chosen solution

There have been several problems posted from Windstream users in the past week. Since it is the Windstream server issuing the error I suggest you ask them.

Thank you for the answer. I was not sure if it was Thunderbird or Windstream.net. So, I started with Thunderbird, because you are easier to contact than Windstream. Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Thanks for the information.
