MBOX Header files are imported using the directed method. When I re-lauch Thunderbird the files show up but no header content shows when clicked on.

Where did the mbox files come from? Mbox files from other programs may not be compatible. What is the "directed method"? Link? What do you mean by "headers"? Try describing what happens or doesn't happen, rather than hoping we understand your usage of a piece of technical terminology.
