I made the mistake of trying to set up a filter. Now, I have no messages coming into my inbox - all messages are going direct to all mail.

I deleted the filter that I was working on but I need my new mail to show up in inbox.

'All Mail' is a gmail folder. Gmail keeps all emails in that folder and you cannot change that. gmail uses 'labels' to allow messages to be seen in other 'folders'.

Filters or actions by yourself that 'Archive' will send emails to 'All Mail'.
