New tab will not open sites
I am contacting Mozilla on behalf of my organization. Since the update to 57.0.2. (32-bit), our users have been complaining that they cannot access a site through via opening a new tab. The issue is reproducible: 1. The user opens FireFox 2. Accessing a site (i.e. google.com) 3. The user clicks on the plus sign to open a new tab. 4. User enters another URL into the newly opened tab. Page remains blank. FireFox Options will not open unless opened from the original tab.
Users can only access sites via the original tab.
We have had some success with users by deleting their default profile and starting over. However, this is not a solution for users who have bookmarks, credentials and other information stored within their profile. We have tried creating a new profile and copying over information. However, the issue persists. We have also tried starting FireFox in safe mode and disabling extensions. Issue persists. Please advise.

This might seem weird but instead of jumping through hoops doing this and that this maybe the fastest option and works most of the time.
uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.3 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Are you customizing Firefox via a mozilla.cfg file?
See Configuration:
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
