Have LG VS810PP phone w/ Android v. 5.1.1. System insisted I needed to install a large number of system & app updates. Last week I went ahead & let it install all updates which included firefox. After install, firefox was updated to v. 57.0.4. I then installed the following add ons, Ghostery & Add Block Plus, which I always use. Since then firefox won't function properly. When I open it, it starts to load a web page & then stops & seems to hang for 1 to 2 minutes. It might finish loading the page or it might not. Either way after 1 to 2 minutes forefox winks off & I get kicked back to the phone's desktop or home screen. It doesn't seem to close firefox because when I go to the screen that shows the apps that are open, it is still there. So I tap it to open it again & it does the same thing. It tries to load what ever web page I was trying to open, which may or may not finish loading & after 1 to 2 minutes it winks off & kicks me back to the desktop again. It does this over & over & over & over. I've uninstalled & reinstalled firefox several times with the same result. It does not matter what web page I try to load, the result is always the same. Firefox has now become completely useless to me. I've used the phone's default browser, chrome with no apparent problem.

Hi
I recommend going into the Settings App (typically a cogwheel icon) scrolling down to Storage and selecting Cached Files.
This will clear temporary files from your device and may help it to run a little more smoothly.
