I just enabled two factor authentication in my two Gmail accounts. I created the App passwords (one for every account) to use Gmail with Thunderbird, so now I can download messages, but I can't sent out, Thunderbird asks for a new password, the first one account is ok, the second one not. What can I do?

Can you send using one account, but not the other?

Check to see whether a user name is set in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) settings, which may only be one for your setup. If so, copy that entry (i.e. create an additional and almost identical SMTP server entry) to use the 2nd account’s user name at the bottom of the left pane in Account Settings, then select that server for the affected 2nd account at the bottom of the right pane when the account name is highlighted on the left.

What is the account type - POP or IMAP?

I can't sent out, Thunderbird asks for a new password

What is the exact error message?

Note, the app password is for both, the sending, and receiving server.
