I have setup other local email clients with no problem and I did it for my wife's Comcast email months ago- no problem. I am not your average user - "fairly computer savvy" :) - as I was Director OF IBM Education as well as Principal Engineer for IBM WebSphere.

I'm using IMAP.COMCAST.NET. I've done it many times before for other Email WEB Servers. I verified with CSA - Comcast Security Team that all the settings are correct.

Why am I not seeing all of the COMCAST EMAIL SERVER folders on the TBIRD email client? See attachment for details. FYI - a nice feature to add to your "ask your question" support utility: ability to attach WORD Docx files. I had to use snipping tool :)

Thanks for your help john

Chosen solution

Right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe. Do you see all the folders after clicking Refresh and Subscribing to the ones you wish to see in TB?

Thanks for your rapid response. I did not see anything in the documentation that mentioned "Subscribe". This was easy fix.

However it only added one folder of the additional folders I clicked to subscribe to.

I will experiment with this. Next attempt is to close and reopen TB.

... NOPE closing/ reopen TB did not subsrcibe to other folders I checked.

If you can help me further much appreciated.

Once this is fixed entirely - I will contact COMCAST and give them the answer because I'm sure I' m not the first problem with this issue. Thanks again!
