Whenever I pause the download and then resumes back ,it fails?Any solution!

I use linux having firefox version 60.0 .So when the download got paused due to internet issue ,then i tried to resume back for starting the download again from last point of download ,but it failed always.

Hi, It is possible the information was corrupted when you had your issue . If continues when no issue and you pause it then is a different matter. Try : http://www.linuxandubuntu.com/home/idm-for-ubuntu-install-idm-on-ubuntu-and-other-linux-distributions

If a download stalls because of connection issues then you may not be able to resume the download. If you pause a download manually then resuming should be working. I'm not sure what a good way is to deal with an unreliable connection on Linux. On other platforms there are plenty of external download managers available.

Some websites allow downloads to pause, then resume. Others do not.

Have you tried using a download manager? There are some that work separately from the browser.
