I'm mostly curious as to how the permission "Access your data for all websites" works. I have a couple of questions:

1 - Do the guys who develop extensions have access to the data processed by the extension or is the data only saved on the local machine?

2 - Does the extension have access to secure pages (HTTPS://)?
