I've tried everything I could find on here and Youtube to fix the, "This add-on could not be downloaded because of connection failure," issue and nothing worked

I've been trying to get any add-ons onto my firefox and nothing is working at all. I've tried everything from the about:config page, to clearing everything to cookies, cache, site references, some of the advanced settings, a bunch of videos on youtube, completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox many times, saving the add-ons into a separate file and activating them, and a few other things that I've probably forgotten. Does anyone have any other things I can try because some of these add-ons help immensely for my schooling.
