When I was looking at the programs I noticed that I have two Firefox programs - Mozilla Firefox 44.0.2 (x86 en-US) and 60.0.2 (x64 en-US) on my pc running Windows 10, Why is that? Should I get rid of one of them?

The reason for both versions to be present may be that you once chose to install the 64-bit version, which retained the 32-bit (x86) version instead of overwriting it.

If you are sure Firefox 60 is the version run normally, i.e. when launching it using its menu option or desktop shortcut (and it looks like it), you could safely uninstall the 44 version from Apps & features without losing data.

Also see Uninstall Firefox from your computer.

I don’t think you should, but if you do see an option to remove profile files in the Firefox Uninstall Wizard, choose not to.

Hi, suggest you :

Then uninstall Firefox 60.0.2 then try 44. If fails to uninstall please grab : https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData if they remain. Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 60.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Then restore your Profile.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
