Deeming websites unsecure that I need to do my job.
This is one of the websites that Firefox deems unsecured. https://www.ccclerk.org/external/Default.aspx It is a court website and their should be no reason for it to be deemed unsafe or unsecured.
This is another court website. This one requires the DJVU to view. http://cityofbarberton.com/242/Record-Search I added the addon you suggested to replace DJVU and is does not work with this website.
These are the only to courts I am going to list because I cannot list every court in Ohio your changes caused me to have issues with. This has affected my job in a huge way. I know you say it is up to the developers to fix their addons but they would not of had to if you would not have made the changes so they would not work. Firefox was perfect the way it was.

Hi, what Security programs are you using and what extensions are you using please as not enough information yet.
There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender, ESET & sume times Mcafee that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate. If you are running any of the above software please check their community forum for a work around to apply settings.

Please try SAFE MODE & test.
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?
Hi as Support Volunteers we can not do anything with the other information supplied but you can go To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest: Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ or https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons
You are correct it is the Developers issue to fix their Extensions : There is Support Site, Contact info for listed on their page : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/djvu-js-viewer/
A check of that website shows no problems related to certificates or SSL.
What kind of problems do you have?
Can you attach a screenshot?

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
I don't have a camera so I cannot take screen shots but I would really love it if you could make it so we could override. It may show an issue on yours but it tells me they are not secure. I try setting everything to allow but it does not change anything. I would like a trust forever button added to override what FireFox deems UN-secure if I no the site is secure. What I would also love is if you would allow me to have the choice as to what add-ons I choose to use. For now I have been using another browser so I am able to do my job but I prefer Firefox because you have the menu bar. The menu bar is important to me so I appreciate that you have kept that through the years.

Unfortunately FF is not in the business of overriding security issues. There is a reason for security alerts and if the other side doesn't fix what is the cause FF isn't at fault party here. And they have said they had no issue so that would mean something installed on your side is causing the fault to show up.
What could I possibly have installed on my computer that would cause Firefox to tell me websites are not secure. My computer has the same software on it that comes with every computer. I did not install anything that would cause this to happen. As I stated I had no issue until the Firefox update.
HI you used the plural here when have only report having issues with one site. What other sites ?:
cause Firefox to tell me websites are not secure.

Westend. Will leave it at that.
My computer has the same software on it that comes with every computer.
Fortunately that is not correct. I build mine and put on it what I want to.
I asked you what Security software & Extensions you were running. No Answer.
I gave a URL re: AVG/Avast and another for secure cennection : No Answer.
I asked you to try Safe Mode and TEST: No Answer.
We can not help unless you do what is asked of you to. Please do so now.
I did not get an email with those questions included. I mentioned two sites in my initial post but I am having issue with several court websites. It would take me to long to get you all the url's. The two I sent are the sites I use the most. To answer your questions I use Malwarebytes security and malware software. All of the sites I use are listed as safe sites in my Malwarebytes software. The extensions I am running are Adobe acrobat, Cisco webex, DJVU.JS viewer, and Icloud bookmarks. I tried safe mode and it did not help. I will not use AVG/Avast. I had it on my old computer and it caused issues. Since then I have used Malwarebytes and have never had another issue.
