Some contacts do not receive my photos as attachments ... why?

I send out a group email with a photo (max of 3) attached, and one or two contacts do not receive my message with photos.

The other contacts who have received the photos, will then forward them on, and then the missed contacts get to see the message and photos.

Why is this happening and any explanation will be greatly appreciated.

The probable cause is on the receiving end. The why could be their choice of email client, their choice of anti virus or even their choice of mail provider or a combination of all of the above. Really your question has no answer, only more questions.
