I have enabled the microphone for the Google webpage, I enabled Java in Shockwave and have cleared cookies, browsing history and etc. Still no microphone. Works great in Chrome browser only after a couple simple steps. Please help.

Could it be that this is what you are looking for  ?

That "Voice fill" is now an extension :

If this is not what you're looking for : just ignore .....

scroll down to permissions > Microphone

I did that as well. You have to be on the google search page to do that. If you right click on an empty space on that page and then hit page info you can get to permissions to be able to Allow the microphone. It will then show up in any permission request you make but still doesn't work.

What FFus3r is talking about is Firefox's menu :

Go to the 3-bar menu (or Tools) => Options => Privacy & Security and (like FFus3r said) scroll down to "Permissions" => Microphone

Voice Fill will do the job! It isn't exactly the same as Chrome which has the microphone in the search bar box instead on the outside but what difference does that make! Thanks!
