Whenever I find a message in the Bulk Mail folder that is not actually junk mail, after I view the message, I click the 'not junk' button, then the message is moved to the inbox, and is no longer flagged as junk. Normal behavior so far. Shortly afterwards, it returns to being flagged as junk, though it remains in the inbox folder. Has the fire icon, and images are blocked, and such. This is not correct behavior.

This affects my AOL email addresses.

I think I have seen a post about similar issue, though it was a Yahoo address that was affected. As I recall it suggested that moving the message to the junk folder, and marking it as not junk, from the Yahoo mail page, may fix the individual message.

It seems to have worked for me as well, when done on a particular message.

I would prefer a more permanent fix, for all messages. Also to be able to just use Thunderbird for all of it, and avoiding the webpages of my mail services.

Welcome to Yahoo. It would appear AOL is not yahoo with all of it's idiosyncrasies. Unfortunately Thunderbird does not set the spam flag in IMAP mail accounts and the yahoo spam filter is so aggressive that is constantly scans all mail in all folders.

I do hope The Thunderbird bug gets fixed soon, but I also hope Yahoo learn how to do email.
