where is the "show downloads" icon under Tor?
That blue arrow icon that you can put on the Toolbar to click on to show recent downloads, or the progress of current downloads. Or to Paste the URL of what you want to download.
Cannot find it under Customization in 8.0.3 (based on Mozilla Firefox 60.3.0esr) (64-bit)
How do I paste in a URL without it?

Firefox 57+ auto-hides the Downloads button on the Navigation Toolbar by default. The Download button should appear on the Navigation Toolbar once you open the Customize window. If you do not see the Download icon then click the Restore Defaults button to reset the layout in case you previously have moved this button. Once you see the Download button in customize mode then left-click this button to see the current auto-hide state and toggle its setting.
Who's the genius that removed a tool you need to use multiple times a day?
I just opened Tor Browser for the first time ever, so I did not change the settings.
Its not in the Customize window.
Restored Defaults.... nothing.
HEY -- they CHANGED THE DAMN ICON. I'm looking for a thick BLUE downwards pointing arrow. They changed it to a thin black line arrow. WTF is with them -- making un-documented changes, and making NEEDLESS changes to the "look & feel" in order to screw over long time users who have memorized the way it looks?
What is the possible NEED for DOUBLE HIDING ( "auto hide" ) of this (or any) function? It appears in the toolbar after I drag it there, but when I close the Customize function, it DISAPPEARS AGAIN. Stupid stupid stupid design !!!!
Mine was always there I didn't have to customize it to make it show. What is customize 8.0.3? I have firefox 63.0.1 64bit.
You can left-click the download icon in customize mode to open a menu that allows to set whether to always show this icon.
