Hello,

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

In addition, can you update MacOS?

Thank you.

thanx for replying . Actually i did that before i put the problem here. I have also opened FF in safe mode but that didnt solve the problem either (I tried by the way before that to disable all add-ones which i have on FF but the same problem occur again). Unfortunley i cant updat my MacOS because my machine unable to deal with the newer versions of MacOS. But when i installed FF the MacOS was the same and everything was Ok and there wasnt any problem for a monthes, but newley i noticed that it started to occur, in despite of i didnt make any changes! I wonder why and i dont know what a problem could be that! I prefer to use FF instead of safari and chrome because its the faster browser which i used on my MacBook. but this problem pushed me to search for an alternativ. i dont know what to do! i which i could find a solution.

By the way.. when i Quit FF and close it completly and reopen it it works well and opens everything and playes the videos too. But after minutes or when i try to play another video (live video for a news channel for example) the problem come again and the video doesnt play and shows that it load and load. and when i try to watch that on other browser it plays well with no problem! so i find myself forced to reclose FF and reopen it to watch the video on it ! so it is..
