Chosen solution

Youtube has not used the Flash Player Plugin from Adobe since mid 2016 or was it mid 2015.

Youtube use a HTML5 player on site https://www.youtube.com/html5/

What could be a possible cause is one or more of the Extensions you have installed in Firefox according to you Systems Details by your post.

HTML5 Video Everywhere! YouTube Flash Video Player

Try disabling one at a time to see if either is the culprit.
