Healthcare institution running Server 2008 R2 , 2012 and 2016.

Need to confirm what version is the correct version for running Windows 2008 R2 as we need to update for security reasons.

Can someone please confirm if 3.1.20 is the latest / correct version that should be running on Windows.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird 60 versions supports Windows Server 2008 R2 and also Windows 7, 8 (8.1), 10

EOL with no more security updates: https://www.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/52.9.1/system-requirements/

Thunderbird 3.1.20 is rather old and vulnerable as it was out back on March 12, 2012 and the Tb 3.1 Release itself came out June 24, 2010. https://website-archive.mozilla.org/www.mozilla.org/thunderbird_releasenotes/en-US/thunderbird/3.1.20/releasenotes/

I do not really use Thunderbird but I can at least help with this.
