When I try to download a PDF file from any website I get the error message " the file could not be downloaded. Please save the file to local storage and then try to open it. I wind up having to open the site in chrome to view the PDF. I would rather use Firefox. What can I do?

If the Adobe REader app doesn't help, please let us know the URL of the PDF you are trying to download and your version of Firefox for Android (35?), your Android operating system version (e.g. Kitkat 4.4, Jellybean 4.2, icecream sandwich 4.x, etc) . There have been issues with PDF and downloads in general before but most of them are fixed now.
