My organization is requiring Okta MFA for all of its systems including email. We have been told to switch away from Thunderbird to Outlook because Thunderbird is not compatible with Okta MFA. Unfortunately, I will need to switch away from Thunderbird in the short term, it appears. Are there any plans to make Thunderbird compatible with Okta MFA?

I am not aware of any such plans to enable that. But a definitive answer would require a search of bugzilla.
