OS: Fedora 29 Firefox: 65.0.2 about:config->security.webauth.u2f = true

Two-factor authentication for GitHub stopped working when updating MF. It still works for Google.

Error message on GitHub page says: "This browser doesn’t support security keys"

Obvious question, how to fix?

Chosen solution

Are you using a security key for generating the 2FA code?

Entering a code provided by an app on a mobile device should always work.

I regular log into GItHUB on firefox and have no issues going to the login site. So what site on GitHub is saying this? Running Windows 10x64 1803build. And it could be related to your O/S as well.
