Fresh install of Ubuntu 19.10 with default install of Firefox frequently froze and closed without ending all processes, causing an error the next time I attempt to start Firefox. Uninstalling the snap version and installing through apt seems to have resolved the issue.

I have a similar problem. I am running 18.04.2 LTS and I am interested in knowing when FF freezes is it occurring when viewing youtube?

I would recommend trying about:config then select and active the logging option to see if it displays any useful information.
