I have subscribed to all folders & sub folders under "Manage folder subscriptions" but after I click "OK" the folders I tried to subscribe to aren't showing up. I've tried to quit TB, I deleted the account and added it back in. Nothing seems to work. Some folders/sub folders show up, but not all and nothing happens when I try to add back in.

The usual method:

  • Right click on imap mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe'
  • click on 'Refresh'
  • Select/highlight folders
  • click on 'Subscribe'
  • click on 'OK'

Make sure you have this selected: 'Menu icon' > 'Folders' > 'All'

If still not working:

  • Right click on imap mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'
  • Select 'Server Settings'
  • click on 'Advanced..' button
  • uncheck 'Show only subscribed folders'
  • click on 'OK'
  • click on 'OK'

Another thought: Do you have to enable something like 'Show in IMAP' for folders in webmail settings, as you do with e.g. gmail? Please confirm - in webmail account you can see those missing folders and they are set to 'show in imap'.
