Firefox on my Windows 10 desktop started crashing repeatedly today. I restarted in safe mode and it continued to crash. Here are the last three crash report IDs: bp-99868102-203e-4909-8b62-0fcea0190530 5/29/2019, 9:24 PM

bp-734aaa81-bb3c-46e2-985c-9debd0190530 5/29/2019, 9:24 PM Since it just started today, I am wondering if something got an update that is messing things up. I rebooted my computer, but that had no effect. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Those crash report are OOM (out-of-memory) reports where not enough contiguous free memory is available.

How much physical memory do you have installed yon your computer and what is the file size of the Windows page file (Windows Control Panel -> System)? In case the page file setting is less than what is recommended then try to increase,

The computer has 4G of RAM and the page file setting is 3000MB. I am not a gamer, although I will watch videos on youtube and the like. Firefox crashed while I was reading from the Washington Post website and using Google maps while in safe mode. I had some updates that were not installing: Windows 10 1803 consistently triggers an error in download, so it has never successfully installed, if that makes any difference. Thank you!

i would recommend that you change your page file settings from a fixed size to the system default and let windows manage its size automatically.

Thank you cor-el and philipp for looking at this. The problem seems to have disappeared. I have changed my page file settings to let Windows manage the size, in case that was an contributor. I appreciate your help!
