How to open pinned tabs on startup.
I liked the idea of pinned tabs because I was thinking of them as being a way of having multiple "homepages", i.e. when I open my browser, they open automatically. However, they're stored in session data, which means that pinned tabs get lost whenever I close my browser because I have Firefox set up to clear a bunch of different session/history data on close. I'm not sure which setting is causing this, but I'd like a way to have a page open on startup without having to compromise my privacy, so I'd prefer to just pin tabs on startup somehow without having it be related to session history. Is there any way to do this?

If you want to open multiple homepages, you can simply add a pipe character "|" between the URLs that you are setting as a homepage.
For more information, please see Home page with pipe character opens extra tabs when Firefox starts.
Hope this helps.
Wesley, that's really helpful, and I've added the pages I want to open to my homepage in that way! Still, I have to manually pin them, so I don't think it quite solves my problem. But at least I don't have to go find them each time I reopen Firefox!
