Thunderbird Version 68.2.2/64 bit Linux 5.3.13-desktop-2.mga7 #1 SMP Mon Nov 25 20:30:40 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Upgraded to Mageia 7 and Thunderbird is no longer marking junk mail as read. Junk mail is being moved to the proper Junk folder, but I have to manually mark those messages as read. The box for "Mark messages to be determined junk as read" in global account preferences is checked. This function worked just fine prior to the upgrade.

Is there a bug here that I am unaware of or am I missing something?

Thanks.

My apologies. Wrong graphic attached to original message. See below for current and correct image.

Nobody? Not even a suspicion or suggestion?

Is this an IMAP account? It might be the server is marking the mail as junk, not Thunderbird. Therefore Thunderbird has no involvement in the messages getting to the junk folder, so Thunderbird settings are irrelevant.
