I upgraded to TB68.3.1 yesterday and now the sidebar appears double spaced and runs off bottom of screen. The incoming message section appears also double spaced and so I see fewer messages in the window. How can I return these spaces to original space. I n screen shot the image on left is from laptop and is last update of TB. Image on right is latest update yesterday. There are less lines in update and text appears smaller The shots were taken and sized to be the same width and cropped to same length as the laptop picture but on IMac 27" there is longer shot and looks like many fewer lines on this screen than previously.

They are not double spaced on windows. Have you tried safe mode? Help menu > restart with add-ons disabled.

Do you have a userchrome file that modifies layout? if you have one it is because you created it. They don't "just exist"

I do not have a userchrome file that modifies layout. I have restarted many times. I have tried help and have restarted with extensions disabled and same results. I have also discovered another anomaly since finding this one. I can not now color text in an email with this update. I again =have tried all of the methods suggested and to no avail so am still having these problems. Just waiting to discover new difficulties with this upograde. I have not had any problems with any other upgrades and have been using Thunderbird for close to 40 years.
