We have created a specific profile for our need. (Switch off URL bar and options) After the first use of Firefox, the profile has been automatically changed. The behavior is hence not the expected one at the next use. Is there a way to keep the profile untouched?

Switch to the profile you wish to use and set it as default.

We cannot always switch to an other profile. We may need the same profile a second time or even to use a second instance of firefox with the same profile.

The best way may be to create a new profile, Exit Firefox, Then copy the profile you want to the new profile 'as is.'

Sync is also a possibility, but that would be tricky.

It is a black box for the end user. He has only to click somewhere and firefox opens by magic. It should be possible to start several firefox too.

We are end users. It is not that mysterious. You should not have trouble opening more than one instance of Firefox, either.

The idea is not to always switch to another profile. Select the profile you want once in about:profiles, and set it as default. The profile will not change.
