Hello. I tried to move some old e-mails to the local folder on my computer in order to save space on server. I created new local folder in Thunderbird. I can find this folder on my disc. I selected many emails and I chose option "move to Local Folder". I chose folder which I created. But now I can't find these email. These messages disappeared from my mail box and also Local Folder is empty. I tried open this Local Folder in Thunderbird and also directly from disc. This folder is empty but should contain many of my emails. Please help me to find these emails.

Is this a POP account or an IMAP Account?

Let us try repairing that folder ... probably won't work ... but: In the Folders Pane on the Left find the local folder with the missing messages. Right Click on the Icon of that folder (still in the Folders Pane on the Left) and Choose Properties. Click the Repair Folder button then Click OK. (Wait a while for repairs to finish ... ) Look again to see if any messages have returned.
