I think its a Bug. But I want someone to check if it is just on my installation. 1) Go to this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvis_Presley (as an example) 2) Press ctrl-f to open search bar 3) Write the word "Born" ( Firefox finds it 12 times) 4) Click Match Case and only 2 matches are found. Good. 5) Refresh page (use F5 or the circle-arrow) (Search bar still says 2 matches) 6) Click The down-arrow (Find the next occurrence of the phrase) Now Firefox finds all 12 matches _NOK_ To resolve either: 7a) Press Match Case twice or 7b) Rewrite the search term

Is it like this only for me or for everyone? Thanks!

Chosen solution

I can replicate this in Firefox 71 and 72 and newer including the current Nightly build (Firefox 70 works), so this is a regression possibly caused by rewriting some code.

Found this bug report filed for Firefox 71 that is assigned with Priority P1, so should get fixed in 73.

Thank you for checking this! I also want to mention that I would find it useful if especially "Highligt All" would automatically do it's magic after a refresh or new page-load (e.g. clicking to next page on a forum).
