Firefox was working perfectly last night. Today, on my desktop and laptop, both browsers are crashing. I get a “Gah. Your tab crashed”. I’ve restarted the pc and erased all browser caches.

It looks that Bitdefender has released an update to address this issue, so keep an eye on that. See comment 2 (5 hours ago):

Issue was apparently on us and was affecting users of Bitdefender AV free. We pushed an update about 2 hours ago with the fix. You should see a drop in crashes as update propagates across market.

Hello Toro,

Are you by any chance using Bitdefender ? I'm asking because lately we've seen many reports about Bitdefender causing issues with tab crashes in Firefox 73. If you are using Bitdefender; would you please contact them about it ?
