How do I remove a corrupted bookmarks folder from the cloud?

more options

I have a corruption of a “search” link in my bookmarks. I would like to learn how to , through software or other means, remove these thousands of bookmarks on the computer and then sync the good copy to the cloud. There is a special file Firefox produces on windows 10 machines that is large - due to this corruption? I would not like to delete the computer file since I would lose the good bookmarks also.

When you reset / change the password for your Firefox Account, all your data which was saved to the Sync server ("the cloud") will be deleted. When you set the new password Sync will start from scratch with a fresh load of data from the device you are using. But keep in mind that if the device has corrupt data it will be fed back to Sync.
