On some websites, including eBay, I am unable to use any of the page's arrow buttons. That is, I cannot open any of the drop down menus (like "actions") or on the left side of the screen, I cannot select a price range and then select the right arrow to make the choice. This happens on some other websites, but eBay is the one I use most often with the problem. I don't have it with most sites and the problem doesn't happen with Microsoft Edge. I have only had this problem for a month or two. I am using Firefox v 74.0 (64-bit) with WIndows 10.

Hi, try turning off 'Enhanced Tracking Protection' for those sites by clicking the shield icon at the left-hand end of the address bar whilst on the site - Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop

If that doesn't help, disable any ad blocker you may be using then reload the site.

If you still have a problem and have any other extensions or a theme, hold down the Shift key when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

If it works in Safe Mode, disable any theme or extensions you have - 3-bar menu > Add-ons > Themes/Extensions, then restart Firefox; now if it's still OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some extensions.

Note: If you use userChrome.css - you don't have it if you don't know what it is, this is also disabled in Safe Mode, so should be regarded as an additional suspect, and can be disabled to test by placing /* before, and */ after the file in the chrome folder, then restarting Firefox.

The good news - this was helpful because I was unfamiliar with the shield and other features mentioned. The bad news - none of it solved the problem. I don't know if this helps or not, but in playing on the eBay site, I notice that on the "second page" where I am looking at a selected item, the drop downs work. For instance, if I want to select a color or size, I can. But, I still cannot select "actions" or filtering on the first page with Firefox.
