Up until today, whenever I right click on a webpage, it would display a black background and text in white font. Now, whenever I right clicked a page, it shows a black background with black fonts, resulting in an unreadable display. How do I solve this? thanks

Are you using code in userChrome.css in the chrome folder in the profile folder to modify those (background and text) colors or is this done via another way ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
