I did not install any apps or add-ons ir extensions recently. It is just stopped working. When you try to reach some website it's just it just says "transferring data from... website name"

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Problem solved.

After I switched to the safe mode according to the links you have provided, everything started working.

I checked my theme. It was default since forever. No new, or strange add-ons or extensions as well.

Then I checked "hardware acceleration". It was "use recommended settings", I switched off recommended settings, and turn it off hardware acceleration as it appeared.

After I restarted it in a normal mode, everything works fine.

Thanks for your help and support!
