In Windows 10, if I click on "New tab" from the Activities jump-list and Firefox is closed, it will show a blank page instead of the home page.

Hi andy-drew, I've never tried that before. Is your new tab page set to the "Firefox Home" page, or a blank page, or does an extension control the page?

(I'm thinking of the setting on the Options page, Home panel, for "New tabs".)

Yes, it is set to "Firefox Home". This behavior exists only when using the above-mentioned feature of Windows 10 (I don't remember if previous version (maybe 8 and 8.1) of Windows had it), i.e. the jump-lists.
