Ever since updating Thunderbird to version 80.0b1 (which says 32bit even though my computer is 64bit) I have been unable to insert images into emails. I have checked to make sure I have it set NOT to use Alternate Text. But when I insert the image, all that shows is a white box. If I wait a bit I will get an error message that says: "Unable to save your message as draft. There was an error attaching (name of image file). Please check that you have access to the file." The image is a photo I have saved on my desktop. Doesn't matter which image I try to insert, I get the same results. Only way I can send an image is to attach it. Can someone PLEASE help me get this straightened out? Thanks so much! ~ Marie ~

Also just found out that an image in an email I received has turned to a white box and is giving the same error message when I try to reply to that email!
