I am having trouble installing a new programme. At the moment, I have a serial key to use and when I start the download I get a question asking if I want to save the file or cancel. I press save and the download immediately stops. I think that it is being blocked by Firefox and I need to know how to unblock. This file is very reputable and I have paid for it, I am running on a free trial for 30 days at the moment and the 30 days are running out. Help!!!!

There are a variety of reasons why a download might be stopped, the most common of which is your anti-virus or security program. If you are 100% sure that the download is legitimate and reputable, you may want to try temporarily disabling your anti-virus or other security software to see if the download is completed.

If you disable your security software, it's best to enable it again as soon as the download is finished, before running or opening the downloaded file.

If that doesn't help, you may want to try downloading the file while running in Firefox Safe Mode. This would temporarily eliminate virtually anything that could be conflicting with the download in Firefox.

Hope this helps.
