There is a common problem with Firefox that I see all over the internet. Browsing sites where gifs go black, and simple videos won't play. I don't understand why Firefox can't fix this? Whenever I'm trying to watch a viral video, or a news video (many but not all gifs as well), they stay black. Audio works though.

So I open Chrome to see these, and it's flawless. The problem HAS to be with Firefox because Chrome never falters. I like the speed of FF so I'd like to fix this!

Thanks for any and all help....

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
